    Columbia City vs Beacon Hill

    A Common Border: Uncommon Diffentiators

Columbia City and Beacon Hill are constantly cross-shopped because they share a border and a smooth commute along Seattle’s South Link Light Rail corridor.

Columbia City is a charming "urban village" tucked in a flat valley, featuring a historic main street along Rainier Ave. packed with local shops and restaurants. Modern apartment buildings near downtown give way to quiet, leafy blocks of 1920s Craftsman bungalows.

Beacon Hill is an understated residential sanctuary perched on a scenic, breezy ridge with sweeping skyline views. You'll find historic Craftsman bungalows near the north end, with mid-century, single-family lots further south.
