    Columbia City Urban Beer Garden is a relaxed, community-focused offshoot of Fremont Brewing. Dogs are welcome throughout its spacious covered and open-air seating area. Leashed pups can lounge beside you at picnic tables while you sip from the 20 rotating taps, and the spot often offers free treats and complimentary pretzels for both humans and pets.

    Seattle parks allow leashed dogs almost everywhere except playgrounds and athletic fields, so nearly any green space in Columbia City is fair game for a walk—as long as your pup stays leashed.

    Genesee Park Off-Leash Area & Loop Trail

    Genesee Park Off‑Leash Area is a fully fenced, 2.7‑acre dog park located with double-gated entrances, a doggie drinking fountain, and a “Small & Shy Dog Area”. The play area is surfaced in compacted gravel, designed to help prevent mud even during winter month. On-leash dogs are also welcome on the Genessee Loop, a scenic, 0.7-mile gravel loop trail that winds through open green spaces.

    Columbia Park is a small but inviting patch of green tucked beside the historic Columbia Branch Library, with a winding paved path that loops under towering maples and across open grass. The building's rooftop dog park also provides our four-legged residents with a safe place to play and exercise without leaving the building.
